SILENCIO
This project explores the transformative potential of architecture in connecting with our inner selves, society, and the environment. By stimulating our sensory experiences and challenging conventional perceptions, architecture transcends traditional boundaries and reshapes how we engage with the world. This deeper sensory interaction not only influences our perception but also guides us toward an elevated form of consciousness, fostering mental clarity and social awareness.
Drawing inspiration from the narrative structure of the film Mulholland Drive, this project seeks to translate its complex and multi-layered storytelling into spatial relationships. The film's non-linear and surreal elements serve as a foundation for creating architectural experiences that evoke introspection and heightened awareness. By weaving these narrative techniques into design, architecture becomes an immersive journey that invites users to explore new perspectives and forms of connection.
Ultimately, this approach aims to create spaces that inspire reflection, encourage social engagement, and cultivate a harmonious relationship with the environment.
